Note: Edinburgh Incorporation of Goldsmiths shows Whytock & Sons' mark as W&S without serifs with mentions in the records from 1853 to 1867. This mark was seen on a boxed spoon & tong set dated 1886 with Whytock & Sons' name on the box. The mark also overstamps another mark. It is probably an unregistered mark.
